Wall art in most homes is flat and behaves itself. These nine ceramic tiles do not. Landscapes and Cityscapes Shaped in Clay is a set of relief tiles, square, rectangular, circular and a few refusing all categories, where buildings actually protrude from the city scenes, trees rise off the surface and rivers run through carved stone outlines.

Each tile is a small hand painted landscape or city on its own, and hung together they make a wall people touch, which is either the highest compliment for art or a cleaning problem, depending on the house.

Arrange them up the staircase wall where flat frames always look slightly lost or as a cluster in the dining area where guests sit facing one wall for an hour anyway. Ceramic, so dust with a soft dry brush and hang each tile on its own proper hook. No sunlight worries at all.
