In 1925 Henry Clive painted a portrait of Sultana which is filled with elegant‚ fanciful‚ theatrical beauty and impressive colors․ In the portrait‚ a beautiful woman is reclining on a chair‚ in front of a large circular window․ In the background to the left is the white dove she reaches for‚ and an elaborate palace landscape under a deep blue night․

The Art Deco style was reinforced by strong colors‚ flowing fabrics and light dark contrast․ The gold in the dress‚ the crimson drapes‚ the turquoise architecture and the bird’s brilliant white further strengthened this image․
