Humble Design Chicago fully furnishes 3 to 4 homes a week for families, individuals and veterans coming out of homelessness. Welcome Home is the annual evening that funds a large share of that work, and this year it runs on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Salvage One in West Town, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets and tables both go through the Humble Design Chicago event page rather than a general ticketing platform.

Booking Deadline
The early bird rate closed on July 31, so individual seats now sell at the standard price. Ticket sales for past Chicago editions have shut several days ahead of the event itself, which makes the week of October 1 a risky time to decide.
The Hosts
Humble Design Chicago belongs to a national nonprofit that also runs Welcome Home evenings in Detroit, Cleveland and San Diego. Trish Davies has served as Executive Director of the Chicago chapter since January 2024. Meanwhile, the event listing carries Tess Callaghan as a co-host.
