The show runs 4 days this year and Saturday is the day everyone picks, which is the wrong instinct if you have real quotes to chase. It is on at GLOBOX Arena, Claudelands, from Thursday 1 October to Sunday 4 October 2026.
Adult entry is $12 if you sort it online first.
Event Details

- Waikato Home & Garden Show 2026.
- Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 October 2026.
- GLOBOX Arena & Events Centre, Gate 4 Brooklyn Road, Claudelands, Hamilton.
- Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
- Tickets through waikatohomeshow.co.nz or on the gate.
What Entry Costs
- Adult, $12 online or $16 at the gate.
- Seniors 65+, Thursday only, $10 online or $12 at the gate.
- Children 16 and under, free.
The Online Rate Ends 28 September
That $12 holds until midnight on 28 September and then both prices meet at $16, so the saving is $4 a head and it expires before the doors even open. Two adults booking ahead keep $8, which covers the parking and a coffee.
Kids And The Gold Card
Children 16 and under walk in free and do not need a ticket at all, which takes the sting out of bringing a couple of them along. Seniors day is Thursday, and they will want to see the Gold Card at the door before the $10 rate applies.
Meet Your Host

The show is run by XPO Exhibitions, a New Zealand exhibition company, and the Waikato Home & Garden Show is one of the bigger dates on their calendar. The Facebook page carries 29 past events, so this is not a one off someone has put together.

Parking Or The Free Bus
Claudelands Showgrounds car park runs $5 a day, cash or card, with disability parking on site, though it does shut if the weather turns and the ground goes soft. There is street parking around Claudelands as well and most days it is enough.
BUSIT is running free buses to and from the show across all 4 days. That takes the $5 and the hunt for a space out of the day entirely.
